pinentry-qt prior to version 1.2.0 on is not shown on plasma wayland. The issue is also described in upstream bug: https://dev.gnupg.org/T5528 For me, the bug has a slightly different appearance than the upstream bug. pinentry-qt windows is actually present, but it is minimized and cannot be activated by keyboard. instead it must be activated by pressing the taskbar icon via mouse. Nevertheless, version 1.2.0 does fix the problem. I am not sure if this is reproducible on other wayland compositors (using plasma here) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.
