gitea didn't have a maintainer for a while now. The current version has vulnerabilities¹. I think it is better to remove it. I do use it and I package it in ::tastytea, but I don't want to “officially” maintain it in ::gentoo because I know too little about go and JavaScript to fix the open and future bugs. Also I think proxied maintainership does not work well for relatively fast moving software with frequent security fixes. ¹ <https://bugs.gentoo.org/809581> Reproducible: Always
Fixed version in tree.
I still think it is a bad idea to have this package unmaintained in ::gentoo. The project fixes security vulnerabilities almost every month.
