Description Chris Johns 2005-02-07 13:20:46 UTC
I was fooling around with the keyboard, and I hit Pause/Break, then I hit PrintScreen/SysRq. The screen then went to all caps, and although it recognizes the difference between W and w (for example), it doesn't display it at all. And there's no way to restore it to lower-case except logging out and letting the login program restart

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Boot box
2. Hit Pause/Break
3. Hit PrintScreen/SysRq
4. Hit enter
5. All in caps!

Actual Results:
Goes to all caps

Expected Results:
Should have said "login incorrect" and just acted normally

that's a feature, not a bug :)

but I didn't type in a capital username, i just hit those two keys...is that related to typing in a capital username somehow? like on old terminals those two keycodes would be sent?
