Installing a relatively minimal system in a VM for testing and came across this. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.`emerge sddm` 1a. Don't edit any conf files 2.`rc-service display-manager start` 3.Error says "Please set your DISPLAYMANAGER variable in /etc/conf.d/xdm" which doesn't exist anymore. Probly should say conf.d/display-manager amd64/21.?/desktop/plasma profile stable amd64 except for ~app-portage/kuroo no overridden USE except that required to get clean depgraphs for `emerge kuroo` and `emerge -uND @world` on 2021-9-1 tree snapshot (freetype[harfbuzz]) and gentoo-kernel[hardened]
