Description Jan Callewaert 2005-01-23 14:22:04 UTC
When I open any image with kuickshow, the dimensions of the window are adjusted to match those of the image, but it remains black. The info of the image is correct. This happens with all images. I have tried jpg, png, ... Kview, ImageMagick, ... don't have this problem, so it's not the images who are corrupted.

Here it works well for me.
Can you provide more infos (your emerge info output).
Can you also trying to run it from a shell to look if there's something useful in its ouput?

bug 64918 ?
Comment 4 Jan Callewaert 2005-01-24 05:21:51 UTC
yep, this is a work around for me. Perhaps like suggested adding a wrapper script until this issue is resolved?
This is the kde bug: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=89313. I have posted there also a request for a wrapper script. But in the mean time, maybe include a wrapper script in gentoo.
Comment 5 Gregorio Guidi (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-01-24 06:07:37 UTC
This bug only affects users of an experimental feature, so I don't think it's
appropriate to create a wrapper script for everyone. But if someone else in
the kde team wants to do it, he's free to do so...
