Discord was updated to version 0.0.15 and demands an update before running. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Run net-im/discord-bin-0.0.14 Actual Results: Discord pops up a window informing that version 0.0.15 is available and asks if the user wants to download a .deb or a .tar.gz package. Expected Results: Discord starts. A tar.gz is available in the website runs without modification in a Gentoo system where net-im/discord-bin-0.0.14 is installed. This may mean ebuiolds that don't need to deal with .deb packages.
The usual ebuild renaming works with this version well. Please push this change. I took a look at the tgz file, but it doesn't seem usable to me since it looks to be made for a local installtion - no FHS structure, but a plain directory. That being said, maybe putting it in /opt works? Unfortunately I have no real experience with binary-only packages.
Is there a way we can automate version bumps for this package? It gets frustrating relying on waiting for the ebuild bump every time discord pushes out an update.
