Description Phil Smith 2005-01-22 13:56:50 UTC
I recieve this error each time I run the bootstrap. (happened with an older portage, just downloaded the latest 2.3.4.20040808, still happens.) After that error, it kills cc1.

Maybe relevant: The resolv.cong file that was supposed to copied over before chroot did not exist. I had to create it manually.

Nothing fancy in USE or MAKE.CONF, runnign an an HP Evectra, 600 meg Pentium III, 128 megs ram,

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Just follow the instructions from the Handbok for a basic internet install.
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Bootstrap.sh errors out.

Expected Results:
completed successfully.

System is dedicated linux
