I found out that some of the binaries in the Citrix Workspace App tarball are not actually installed by Portage when emerging net-misc/icaclient. Missing binaries: - icasessionmgr - NativeMessagingHost - UtilDaemon I noticed it because util/storebrowse consistently logs an error about not being able to start UtilDaemon.
The bug has been referenced in the following commit(s): https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/?id=e605f305954dc21c26487cfd600a918a136c79e0 commit e605f305954dc21c26487cfd600a918a136c79e0 Author: Lars Wendler <polynomial-c@gentoo.org> AuthorDate: 2021-07-02 10:08:44 +0000 Commit: Lars Wendler <polynomial-c@gentoo.org> CommitDate: 2021-07-02 10:10:27 +0000 net-misc/icaclient: Bump to version 20.6.0.28 Bug: https://bugs.gentoo.org/788697 Signed-off-by: Lars Wendler <polynomial-c@gentoo.org> net-misc/icaclient/Manifest | 2 + net-misc/icaclient/icaclient-21.6.0.28.ebuild | 261 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 2 files changed, 263 insertions(+)
Alessandro: Can you please check if 20.6.0.28 has all the required files and can make use of them?
The binaries are there in version 20.6.0.28. Portage shows this QA notice though: scanelf: rpath_security_checks(): Security problem with relative DT_RPATH '.:$ORIGIN/' in /var/tmp/portage/net-misc/icaclient-21.6.0.28/image/opt/Citrix/ICAClient/lib/libwebrpc.so * QA Notice: Unresolved soname dependencies: * * /opt/Citrix/ICAClient/lib/libkcph.so: libgssapi.so.3 *
