Hang was also reported here, but only with VIRTUALX_REQUIRED missing, which is not the case in this bug. Can you still reproduce it?

The weird bit being that VIRTUALX_REQUIRED=test had been there for 7 years and only briefly gone away for 5.107.0/5.108.0. Random hangs like that are really frustrating. Feel free to re-open this bug if it reappears (and try if it does consistently 3 times).
