A konversation cvs ebuild would be nice as the konversation devs don't release a new stable version very often. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:

Here's it. I won't add it to portage. Please put it in your overlay.
Thanks. Maybe you could add a "konversation-cvs" like there are packages with "-bin"?
It doesn't work, I don't know if I do something wrong: mercury mark # ebuild /usr/local/portage/net-irc/konversation/konversation-5.ebuild digest >>> Generating digest file... >>> Generating manifest file... <<< konversation-5.ebuild <<< files/digest-konversation-5 >>> Computed message digests. mercury mark # emerge konversation Calculating dependencies - emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "~kde-base/kdelibs-5".
>Maybe you could add a "konversation-cvs" like there are packages with "-bin"? That's exactly what I don't want. There are already too much of these packages. Portage slows down by the growing tree anyways, no need to pollute it with unnecessary -bin and -cvs stuff. Also I'm tired of "cvs ebuild fails" bug reports. >emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "~kde-base/kdelibs-5". Yes, sorry. I'm using ebuild instead emerge, so I didn't noticed it. Just remove the 'KDEBASE="0"' line.
>Also I'm tired of "cvs ebuild fails" bug reports. Just to note, that I did not meant this request with the above sentence. ;)
It works, thanks!
let's keep it open for interested folks
Since svn is used now..
