Description Michael E. Adams 2005-01-05 16:33:21 UTC
Linuxant Driverloader 2.23 now supports 802.11b/g on Broadcom chipsets within x86-64 linux. I am running it with Gentoo x86-64 2004.3-r1 on a Compaq Presario R3000. Could Gentoo provide an ebuild supporting this driver? Linuxant has an installer program that should be run with the --tty option to run in text mode. A single MAC address license costs $20.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download dldrinstall.run
2. Gunzip and untar
3. As root, sh dldrinstall.run
4. Follow instruction.
5. Reboot and configure hardware (I use iwconfig.

Actual Results:
Working 802.11g!

Could you please test, bump(rename), help with the ebuild in that bug?
