Hello, bpmdj is a package that can automatically count the BPM of a song in a very accurate way (using autocorrelation). The package contains a player (kbpm-play) and a file selector (kbpm-dj). Best suitable place seems to be media-sound/bpmdj. Werner,-

Created attachment 4921 [details] The latest version (1.3) I replaced the old bpmdj ebuild with a newer one. This is for version 1.3. There was a bug in the dependency of qt2. This has been fixed. With kind regards.
Hi Werner, An ebuild for bpmdj will be added right after the 1.4-freeze. (should be any day now) I had to make some patches to the code because it wouldn't compile otherwise. Please have a look at the changes I made (I also changed the defines.gentoo a bit to be more gentoo compatible) tarball (ebuild/digest/patch) is on http://cvs.gentoo.org/~pvdabeel/ebuilds/ a screenshot of the kde part of bpmdj running on my Gentoo/PPC can be found on http://cvs.gentoo.org/~pvdabeel/screenshots/ I saw that 1.4 was released some days ago, but I couldn't find the sourcecode (nor in CVS nor on the ftp): 1.4.source.tgz on your new server is a tarball containing debian binaries.
