gentoo-sources update to 5.10 from 5.9 causes a Bluetooth error that stops loading of ath3k bluetooth device. 5.9 kernels do work tried kernel 5.10.1-gentoo-r1 and 5.10.3-gentoo.

Patch from bluetooth-next

Can you run the latest gentoo-sources, which is 5.10.16 as of this writing, and apply this patch and test, please?

Pardon the tardiness.

The patch applied to kernel 5.10.16-gentoo does indeed allow connections and removes the dmesg error "Bluetooth: hci0: don't support firmware rome 0x31010000"
