I had already brought this up some time ago, but didn't follow up on it. IMHO there is little value in having an umbrella project for Lisp related things. The few common resources like the git repo and the mailing list (which is mostly dead) don't justify having a project. There are no packages that have lisp@gentoo.org as maintainer, everything is handled by its current subprojects. So my proposal is to dissolve the umbrella project and move Common-Lisp, Scheme, and Emacs to the top level. (The project structure in the wiki is flat anyway. Most of the umbrella-type project are a remnant of the CVS project pages, or even of the old managers.)
Ping. I have already moved the Emacs project to the top level. If there are no objections, I'll do the same for Common Lisp and Scheme one week from now, and announce on the mailing list that we shut down the umbrella project.
All done. Closing.
