Beta is not even avliable for download what is sence of having something in portage that cant be used by general public this should have been masked in package.mask like it was originally seeing it was stated that we wouldn't add it to the portage collection see it cant be download for users to test that are not beta testers.
vmware-workstation 5.0 beta is open to the public now. All you have to give is some info then you get serial emailed to you in seconds.
Apart from sound problems. Its behaving stable for me.
vmware mail lis slow to reach my personal server lately :D go ahead and ignore this seeing this is true that vmware has finally released a beta for all to try. I would suggest putting it on a mirror tho would be much easier then trying to find a download for the dayum thing :P

vmware 5.0 is p.masked again. It shouldn't have been unmasked and that's my fault. Anyone who wants to test the 5.0 beta should unmask the ebuild themselves using /etc/portage/package.unmask.
