Created attachment 671563 [details] Kernel config I'm not sure if this is due to nvidia's known 5.9 issues or if this is due to changes within 5.9 on how it handles I/O. Kernel 5.8 does not have this issue. When using RDMA over FDR IB with NFSv4 on 5.9 the kernel will hard lock up / crash within a second or two of the transfer starting. Kernel bug: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=210097 I only have two computers and am stuck with nvidia, so can't test without the card.

Created attachment 671569 [details] Kernel log
As of 5.9.11 the kernel is no longer hard crashing and files successfully transfer. However, whatever is transferring the files becomes unresponsive until the transfer is finished which did not happen in kernel 5.8.
thanks for the report fixed upstream
Is this still an issue with the latest 5.10.X kernel, which is 5.10.16 as of this writing ?
