I'm running xfce4 and just tried installing porthole 0.4.1 which installed pygtk, but without gnome support, which then caused the emerge of porthole to abort. Shouldn't this be a dependency for porthole? I assumed that the bug applies to all archs, but I can only try it on my system (stable x86, added porthole to package.keywords). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge -pv pygtk (flag -gnome) 2. emerge porthole Actual Results: >>> emerge (1 of 1) app-portage/porthole-0.4.1 to / >>> md5 src_uri ;-) porthole-0.4.1.tar.bz2 * pygtk was not merged with the gnome * USE flag. Porthole requires pygtk be * built with this flag for libglade support. !!! ERROR: app-portage/porthole-0.4.1 failed. !!! Function pkg_setup, Line 40, Exitcode 0 !!! pygtk missing gnome support Expected Results: Installed porthole, if necessary with installing part(s) or all of Gnome as dependencies. I presume the latter would happen if I recompile pygtk with active gnome flag, but unless thats actually necessary I don't want to try that.
