make: *** [b44um.o] Error 1
!!! ERROR: net-misc/bcm4400-3.0.7 failed.
!!! Function src_compile, Line 31, Exitcode 2
!!! (no error message)
!!! If you need support, post the topmost build error, NOT this status message (sorry)

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge bcm4400

Actual Results:
errors as recorded above

Expected Results:
emerged the broadcom 4400 package so my gentoo box can get back on the net...

there isn't anything else running (app-wise). I'd be more than happy to send
anything you need, except that i'd have to copy the files from my gentoo box
to another machine and then upload them to you.
As to severity - for me, it's pretty critical, since i can't emerge anything
from that box, so, forgive me if i raise too high a flag on this...
