Description Georgi Georgiev 2004-12-09 08:17:56 UTC
An important configuration file for qmail-scanner is /var/spool/qmailscan/quarantine-attachments.txt. However, due its unprotected location, the file gets overwrited after an emerge.

I recommend putting that file in /etc/qmailscan/ and symlinking it to /var/spool/qmailscan/

Ah, and it also seems to overwrite the current log file. Not good. Not good at all.
Comment 2 Georgi Georgiev 2004-12-09 08:31:57 UTC
After I moved the touching of the quarantine.log file to pkg_postinst() in my overlay (I believe that's the proper action) I saw a chown that does things to files that are not prefixed with ${ROOT}, while others are. Please fix that too.

Is this still valid with 2.08?

Sorry, haven't used this in a while, so no idea right now.
