I am doing the 2004.3 liveCD installation. I am following your handbook and have come to the section. Stage 1-stage2. I am suppose to got to /usr/portage and run scripts/bootstrap.sh. How ever this file isnt there. I found a file with a similar name in /usr/portage/rsync/scripts/ This File Gives me and error thought. (!!! Error

Perform another emerge sync.  The file is in /usr/portage/scripts.  If you do not have it, then your sync failed at some point.

Moving these so we can remove the "Install CD" component from "Gentoo Linux".

I apologize to everyone for this spam, but according to the bugzilla developers,
this is the only reasonable way to do this.
