Description Myles Goodwin 2004-12-06 21:16:46 UTC
When I tried to emerge doxygen-1.3.9.1 I always get a segmentation fault:

scanner.l: In function `int scanYYlex()':
scanner.l:3909: internal compiler error: Segmentation fault
Please submit a full bug report,
with preprocessed source if appropriate.
See <URL:http://bugs.gentoo.org/> for instructions.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge -v doxygen
Actual Results:
1.  time passes
2. emerge fails due to segmentation fault

Expected Results:
it should've finished emerging.

if you compile gcc+binutils as CFLAGS="-march=k6 -O2 -pipe", does this bug still occur? if that is the case, this is a dupe of bug #24379.
Comment 3 Myles Goodwin 2004-12-07 20:24:57 UTC
recompiled gcc and binutils with CFLAGS="-march=k6 -O2 -pipe" and doxygen compiled without incident this time. thanks!! (and a sarcastic *thanks* to AMD's marketing practices)
Comment 4 Myles Goodwin 2004-12-07 20:26:02 UTC
is a dupe.
