thanks, I will take a look at this issue is with libpinyin.appdata.xml
So - this issue seems to have already been fixed upstream, https://github.com/libpinyin/ibus-libpinyin/issues/236 This fix will be in 1.11.93 (which isn't released yet). If no-one objects (or has a real-life issue) will wait a bit for official release. (If that is taking too long can either add fix as a patch or add an ebuild for a git version.)
