See https://bugs.gentoo.org/721518 which has just been closed and https://bugs.gentoo.org/721540.
I am updating to latest upstream version and python 3.7 and 3.8 will be added.
Version 2.0.1 should be stabilized if necessary but 1.8.1 should be removed.
