Description Agostino Sarubbo gentoo-dev 2020-05-07 06:14:00 UTC
This is an auto-filled bug because sys-apps/grep fails tests.
The issue was originally discovered on arm64, but it may be reproducible on other arches as well.
If you think that a different summary clarifies the issue better, feel free to change it.
Attached build log and emerge --info.

Please add system information (emerge --info) and make sure you tested against latest stable glibc.

emerge --info is in the build log (as written before)

at that time glibc version was: 2.31-r2::gentoo

I had a theory when I skimmed test-suite.log earlier, but now I've googled, I'm satisfied this isn't a problem anymore.

See: https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-grep/2017-11/msg00014.html

Until recently, jit was masked for arm64, but it's now available (since this bug was filed). So I think we're actually good here.
