Description Agostino Sarubbo gentoo-dev 2020-04-24 06:13:27 UTC
This is an auto-filled bug because dev-libs/ustr calls ranlib directly.
The issue was originally discovered on arm64, but it may be reproducible on other arches as well.
If you think that a different summary clarifies the issue better, feel free to change it.
Attached build log and emerge --info.

This issue has been reproduced by setting the RANLIB variable and by removing the /usr/bin/ranlib binary.

When I'll review bug 732026, I'll keep this in mind. We might fix two in one here.

So a day after I caught up on everything you throw me out?

Nice. And totally reassuring. That motivates me greatly to invest any of my scarce spare time.

(I will do so anyway, but just you know...)
