Description Matt MacLeod 2004-11-20 18:30:40 UTC
The original sources for gtop (and the version of libgtop that it depends on) no longer exist at the location specified in the ebuild.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Try to emerge gnome-extra/gtop, with no GENTOO_MIRRORS set
2. Requires libgtop-1.0.13-r2
3. Attempt to install

Actual Results:
Source file/directory pointed to by ebuild no longer exists.

Expected Results:
Portage should download the source, compile the package.

I only detected this because I had temporarily set my GENTOO_MIRRORS="", so it
tried to access the main Gnome site. One I restored my mirror list this worked
fine, but this could be a problem if the mirrors for this file ever become
corrupt. Is there a 2.x series of gtop? There certainly is one for libgtop.

What you really mean in this bug report is: "Please correct SRC_URI for libgtop-1.0.13 and gtop-1.0.13."

Why don't you just check the GNOME mirrors for this yourself? We have the newest version of 'gtop' in portage.

Fixed now, thanks for the report.
