Description SpanKY gentoo-dev 2004-11-17 08:17:36 UTC
einstall is a kludge that is supposed to be used only when DESTDIR is not supported

I'm taking care of a version bump on this one too- if you don't mind Deedra, I'll take this bug.

ugh, messy makefiles- I see why einstall was used. Sorry this is taking so long, I'll have more time tonight to work on it, unless someone already knows what to do?

I had a tough time with it too...
Anyway, I'm posting to say that epos is at version 2.5.24, so while you're at it, you might as well give it a version bump.
Version 2.5.24 includes the patch for version 2.5.23, so src_unpack() can be dropped.

Bug 78983 is fixed now and there is no einstall in 2.5.35-r1 any more, closing.
