Apparently it fixes something, so why not. Arch teams, please ignore test failures if the minority of tests fail. I am yet to look into disabling these that are broken but it's humongous effort.

commit 32d440ecadab53f56985e646c78f7a7f151d1761 Author: Rolf Eike Beer <eike@sf-mail.de> Date: Fri Apr 3 21:50:45 2020 +0200 dev-lang/python: stable 3.7.7 for hppa, bug #715124
ppc, s390: ping. Do you still hit some test failures?
python-3.7.7-r1 fails 23 ctypes tests on ppc (bug #717266).
(In reply to ernsteiswuerfel from comment #10) > python-3.7.7-r1 fails 23 ctypes tests on ppc (bug #717266). I presume this is not a regression, i.e. 3.7.6 fails the same? If so, please ignore. It's a problem to be fixed upstream, and ctypes is a small part of Python ecosystem.
