hotplug was recently upgraded to 20040923. Now my usb modules are no longer auto-loaded and no usb devices are detected. After loading the modules manually, my devices still aren't detected.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Upgrade to the most recent stable hotplug
2. 
3.

Actual Results:  
No usb devices worked anymore

Expected Results:  
The same thing it was doing before the upgrade

etc-update
/etc/init.d/coldplug start
rc-update add coldplug default

coldplug has to be merged separately and should go in the boot runlevel
there will be an announcement about this soon
