This is blocking py2 cleanup in dev-py/configobj. Also, I'm pretty sure it was last rited already, and it doesn't seem that the new maintainer actually made anything besides creating additional work for others.
Watch your words and stop spreading FUD. I expect working Py3 version in late March 2020.

I'm sorry, I must have wrongly assumed that not even bothering to reassign bugs filed for the package means not doing anything, and that me having to reassign those bugs and then file this one means I had to do additional work because the package wasn't removed as it should have been.

All, versions of sabnzbd have now been masked for removal in 30 days als px2 only. Unfortunately, this includes the ebuilds for versions 3.0.0._rc1 and 3.0.0_rc2, but these versions are using Python 3. I think these versions should not be affected by the mask.
