Description James Le Cuirot gentoo-dev 2020-01-04 14:43:01 UTC
Needed to close out a security bug. I've already runtime tested it on amd64 and it was released by upstream months ago so I trust it generally runs okay.

Testing with USE=debug would be a good idea as I just added a patch for that.

Looking good on ppc64.

Runs fine also with USE=debug. I guess stabilization could be extended for ppc (non-64) too?

I'm admittedly not very interested in stable and only do this when I have to. ppc(32) is a dying arch so I just see stabilising that as extra long term work, sorry. In general, we do not stabilise games packages any more but this is a rare exception.

In general I am fine with that. But one could argue that dosbox runs equally well & passes tests on ppc as on ppc64 where it is stable anyhow. But not my decision.
