Been using for several months, works ok for my case, please remove the mask. Thanks!
To be exact, I use dev-java/openjdk-bin, but I suppose it works the same everywhere.
originally I wanted to unmask openjdk{,-bin}:8[gentoo-vm] as upstream ships working jfx-bin, but probably should do it sooner, you are right. not unmasking 11, it's still very broken. icedtea while it works on more arches lags behind.
to clarify wording: i was waiting for adoptopenjdk to start shipping openjdk with openjfx.
