Description Geert Bevin 2002-02-14 12:50:58 UTC
Installing mozilla while going through a binary package first creates a non
working installation of mozilla. When running the executable nothing happens.
Not even an error message. The application just returns instantely to the
command prompt.

Attempted to reproduce using --buildpkg option, failed to do so.

Noticed one strange thing, after mozilla was built, and I guess after the
package was made, there was this unsettling message just before the package was
laid onto the livefilesystem:

cat: write error: Broken pipe

Which seems suspicious. However, mozilla works as expected after emerge.
Upgrading here from -r1. USE is:

USE="readline gpm berkdb gdbm tcpd pam libwww ssl nls
mitshm perl gif sdl vorbis ogg gtk X opengl mozilla bonobo
ipv6 mysql"

Works fine here with or without mozilla installed at package creation time.
