Description Chris Johns 2004-10-31 09:43:50 UTC
I checked someone's profile this morning, and it reversed the order of words on the first line and left-adjusted them. E.g. "Hi there Joe" becomes "Joe there Hi". Very strange - then you highlight it and it shifts to the right and looks correct; e.g. goes back to "Hi there Joe".

Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Check someone's buddy info.
2.If their first line is okay, go to step one. otherwise, go on.
3.See that the first line's pieces are reversed

Actual Results:
I saw a phone number, right-aligned.
                      1234 555 XYZ

Expected Results:
I should have seen a left-aligned number.
XYZ 555 1234

what application are you talking about? A number of application support AIM.
Comment 2 Chris Johns 2004-11-02 05:48:45 UTC
Wow, sorry about that, thought I put the word in there...gaim, version 1.0.2.

No changing optimizations won't matter.

Can you please detail how you "checked someone's buddy info"? Right-click from the buddy list, or from conversation window? Please try to be as detailed as possible in listing the steps.

Been over a month since we've heard from you.
Comment 5 Chris Johns 2004-12-14 07:46:20 UTC
sorry, been busy with finals and the seems to happen about 1% of the time, and happens generally when i right-click on the buddy, and hit Get Info..

I upgraded to 1.0.3 and it still happens - hasn't happened much recently, that i can remember, but that's also probably because i've been overburdened with stuff to do :(

if i can figure anything else out, I'll send it. thanks for keeping this open despite my lack of responibility.
