...and installs the module into wrong location.

i.e it has normally build the module with KERNELOUTPUT dir but than puts it in the /lib/modules/<KERNEL_VERSION without CONFIG_LOCALVERSION part>

CONFIG_LOCALVERSION appeared in 2.6.9 AFAIK
