Description Aaron Bauman (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2019-08-17 19:40:08 UTC
@maintainer, please call for stabilization by CC'ing arches when ready.

<app-misc/lcdproc-0.5.9 needs to be cleaned up due to:

* 0.5.2-r1 relies on vulnerable automake:1.9
* Old EAPI's can go away as well

Hi Aaron,
there is already a ticket for stabilization: https://bugs.gentoo.org/671028

But it will take some time, until I can rekeyword for ppc and ppc64, since there are some changes. If it needs to be faster, would it be okay, to stable only for x86 and amd64, but drop current stable for ppc/ppc64 an rekeyword later, until all issues are revoled?

Cheers
Conrad

That is up to you as the maintainer. If you want to drop keywords for those arches until they are able to stable it then that is fine.

Allright, thanks. So in this case, I would like todo only amd64 and x86. ppc* will be dropped and readded in future, until my PRs are merged, which should fix those on ppc*.
