Version 8.0 has been available since 2019-03-21. Alternatively version 8.1 is available directly from NXP[1].

Sorry for not doing this. I've never had much luck with the VPU on my device so I wasn't able to test this and I wasn't confident about compatibility between versions.

No problem. I no longer use my IMX device, and I was just clearing some old bugs. You can re-open it if you want.
