Any ETA on a fix or workaround? I'm beset with this error on one of my VM instances...
This is similar to https://bugs.gentoo.org/688310 , and the same workaround worked for me: mask >=dev-ruby/rubygems-3.0.4, re-emerge rubygems, and then pg_array_parser will build.
Dear treecleaner@: I'm still able to reproduce this issue right now. Since it has not been fixed for a long time, I'd suggest to evaluate if it is the case to remove this package from the tree. Thanks

The ebuild should already cover the correct dependencies and in general dev-ruby/* policy is to not use bundler at all to avoid additional unneeded dependencies.
