ok, i did some researching and found out that it doesn't compile with the +readlie USE-flag It works for me with these USE-flags: +X -ansi -custreloc -debug -dlopen -emacs -gprof -readline +tcltk
i've opened a thread at gentoo forums and asked if gcl compiles on other machines http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=259355 and it compiles...
