From the homepage: "Tomboy is a desktop note-taking application for Linux and Unix. Simple and easy to use, but with potential to help you organize the ideas and information you deal with every day." I haven't installed it because, as a Gnome app, I fear having files spreading all over the HD (schemas, icons, docs, binaries), but this programs seems interesting because of it's integration with other Gnome apps like Evolution or Rythmbox, it's ability to link some notes to another ones, spell checking... well, all is explained in it's homepage.
