Please
Comment 1 Bernard Cafarelli gentoo-dev 2019-01-14 09:38:23 UTC
openssl 1.1 and nextcloud-client 2.5 were only unmasked recently:

commit 4a4906c8185ba273bc8c17b452ebf742273def11
Author: Lars Wendler <polynomial-c@gentoo.org>
Date: Fri Dec 28 10:41:26 2018 +0100

    package.mask: Unmasked =dev-libs/openssl-1.1.0*

and all packages that were blocked by this mask.

    Signed-off-by: Lars Wendler <polynomial-c@gentoo.org>

So as this is the first stable request, let's wait until the end of month to start the stabling round
Comment 2 Bernard Cafarelli gentoo-dev 2019-03-05 23:30:52 UTC
Or a bit longer, as we also need stable openssl-1.1
Comment 3 Bernard Cafarelli gentoo-dev 2019-10-07 16:23:56 UTC
Updating bug to be ready when openssl 1.1 is stable

Tentative target keywords: amd64 x86 and maybe arm64 (current ~arch keywords)
Comment 4 Roland Ramthun 2019-10-12 09:01:03 UTC
openssl 1.1 is now stable on all tentative targets, though the blocker is technically not closed.
Comment 5 Bernard Cafarelli gentoo-dev 2019-10-14 21:34:28 UTC
Indeed, openssl 1.1 is stable for most arches now, adding target arches

@arches I am not sure if try.nextcloud.com is stable enough to test (as this is first stabilization), but compilation testing is probably enough - we have some users testing it for some time!

An automated check of this bug failed - repoman reported dependency errors (15 lines truncated):

> dependency.bad net-misc/nextcloud-client/nextcloud-client-2.5.2.ebuild: DEPEND: arm64(default/linux/arm64/17.0) ['dev-libs/qtkeychain[qt5(+)]', 'sys-fs/inotify-tools', 'dev-python/nautilus-python']
> dependency.bad net-misc/nextcloud-client/nextcloud-client-2.5.2.ebuild: RDEPEND: arm64(default/linux/arm64/17.0) ['dev-libs/qtkeychain[qt5(+)]', 'sys-fs/inotify-tools', 'dev-python/nautilus-python']
> dependency.bad net-misc/nextcloud-client/nextcloud-client-2.5.2.ebuild: DEPEND: arm64(default/linux/arm64/17.0/desktop) ['dev-libs/qtkeychain[qt5(+)]', 'sys-fs/inotify-tools', 'dev-python/nautilus-python']
Comment 7 Bernard Cafarelli gentoo-dev 2019-10-15 06:08:44 UTC
Dropping arm64 for now, still needs a few more deps
Comment 8 Timo Ollech 2019-10-17 09:24:49 UTC
openssl-1.1.0 is unstable, openssl-1.1.1 is stable. Does nextcloud-client-2.5.2 build with openssl-1.1.1? If so, then please change dependency to openssl-1.1.1.
Comment 9 Bernard Cafarelli gentoo-dev 2019-10-17 10:51:23 UTC
No need, the dep is 1.1.0 or newer (1.1.1 is in same slot):
    >=dev-libs/openssl-1.1.0:0=
That reflects upstream requirements: https://github.com/nextcloud/desktop/blob/master/CMakeLists.txt#L186
Comment 10 Thomas Deutschmann (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2019-10-21 12:31:51 UTC
x86 stable
Comment 11 Agostino Sarubbo gentoo-dev 2019-10-31 14:49:59 UTC
amd64 stable. Closing.
