The files/ directory of net-nds/openldap contains some orphan files which are not used by the openldap-2.4.45.ebuild (currently the only ebuild). The files are: openldap-2.4.17-fix-lmpasswd-gnutls-symbols.patch slapd-initd slapd-confd

There are four of them, namely: slapd-conf slapd-confd-2.4.28-r1 slapd-initd slapd-initd-2.4.40-r2 I can see that the ebuild of openldap-2.4.45 uses slapd-confd-2.4.28-r1 [1] and slapd-initd-2.4.40-r2 [0] but I see no use of slapd-initd and slapd-confd. So are we talking about the same files? If so can you enlighten me where slapd-conf and slapd-initd are (indirectly) used? Thanks.
