it would be interesting to get a newer snapshot in the tree as it stops relying on dead gnet library (there are only 3 non-optional reverse dependencies in the tree). Also, it seems to also stop relying on libglade Thanks
The new code is not fully functional as of yet. I still need to get around to upstream work on this (if ever). The triggers/aliases/shortcuts preferences backend code is all reworked, but there is no new UI to set these up in git master version yet, making it for practical purposes unusable for actual users.
