Portage reports the following QA issue when emerging sys-apps/systemd-239-r1: > QA Notice: Symbolic link /usr/lib/environment.d/99-environment.conf points to /etc/environment which does not exist.

/etc/environment is installed by sys-libs/pam. It may also be created manually. If it doesn't exist, the dangling symlink is expected. @dev-portage: How can I silence this QA warning?
We don't have a whitelist variable for broken symbolic links yet, the check is just this 2 lines of code here: https://gitweb.gentoo.org/proj/portage.git/commit/?id=ca7467006b112f65a57c4db7816729841a2de694 How does QA_BROKEN_SYMLINKS sound for the new variable name?
This isn't worth "fixing" to me. If QA_BROKEN_SYMLINKs is supported in Portage someday, I would be happy to utilize it.
