When adding an executable shell script in ~/.gnome2/nautilus-scripts/ I don't get anymore the scripts submenu in nautilus. The scripts I use worked flawlessly under gentoo with gnome 2.4 but they seems to be broken under gnome 2.6 AND 2.8. They do work under other distributions, I tryed ubuntu + gnome 2.8 and debian + gnome 2.6. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. create an executable script in ~/.gnome2/nautilus-scripts 2. Open nautilus, right-click on an item Actual Results: The "Scripts" submenu does not appear in the popup menu. Expected Results: A "Scripts" submenu should appear. My system does not have ~x86 or hardmasked packages installed, it's a completely stable system.
works fine here, are you sure the scripts are executable & restarted nautilus maybe ?
I really feel dumb, after hitting CTRL-R scripts submenu appeared.
no matter. closing.
