Description Virgil Dupras (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2018-06-27 02:13:59 UTC
During the bump from v3 to v4, keywords were dropped because of new dependencies missing them.

A keywordreq was never opened following that, I'm doing it now.
Comment 1 Virgil Dupras (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2018-07-01 13:08:30 UTC
As we can see in bug 659460, it might be difficult to re-keyword formerly supported arches. It seems that upstream made changes to the code that broke alternate arches pretty deeply.

If this is fixed upstream, it will be so in latest versions. We might as well move the re-keywording efforts to the 5.x line.

Following my previous comment and because I've bumped pillow to v5.2.0 earlier today, let's re-keyword this new version instead. Tests might pass better.

keyworded 6.1.0 on sparc, which is the first version for a long time that does not SIGBUS in the testsuite. There are a few test errors, but they are already reported upstream.
