klibc successfully emerged but: * Messages for package dev-libs/klibc-2.0.4-r3: * * Installation of a symlink is blocked by a directory: * '/usr/lib64/klibc/include/linux' * This symlink will be merged with a different name: * '/usr/lib64/klibc/include/linux.backup.0001' * * * Installation of a symlink is blocked by a directory: * '/usr/lib64/klibc/include/asm-generic' * This symlink will be merged with a different name: * '/usr/lib64/klibc/include/asm-generic.backup.0001' * * * Installation of a symlink is blocked by a directory: * '/usr/lib64/klibc/include/asm' * This symlink will be merged with a different name: * '/usr/lib64/klibc/include/asm.backup.0001' * According to the timestamps, the blocking directories were all installed back when I emerged dev-libs/klibc-2.0.4-r2. The directories appear to be empty. I am guessing that the proper way to fix the system is to remove the directories and put the symlinks instead.
Thank you for the report. Please recompile and *attach* the logfiles and paste the emerge info as described on https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Attach_the_logs_to_the_bug_ticket Please reopen this ticket (Status:unconfirmed) afterwards.
