For chromaprint support in grilo-plugins the actual gst-plugins-bad chromaprint plugin is needed (not currently in portage). The build fails otherwise with USE=chromaprint.
It should depend gst-plugins-chromaprint (not in portage).
The bug has been referenced in the following commit(s): https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/?id=b5f66d92b97e220409717e74c955c8b3d9d2bc78 commit b5f66d92b97e220409717e74c955c8b3d9d2bc78 Author: Mart Raudsepp <leio@gentoo.org> AuthorDate: 2018-07-15 23:33:52 +0000 Commit: Mart Raudsepp <leio@gentoo.org> CommitDate: 2018-07-15 23:34:48 +0000 media-plugins/grilo-plugins: depend on gst-plugins-chromaprint for masked USE gst-plugins-chromaprint is now packaged, so depend on it correctly. This is now available in ~arch, but we still need to sort out availability for stable tree
(In reply to Mart Raudsepp from comment #3) > This is now available in ~arch, but we still need to sort out availability > for stable tree Seems like a separate issue from this one.
