This is a custom package to be used in a small organization whose machines are running Gentoo Linux. Its function will continue to be expanded, but currently is solely to provide a systems status check for the system, as well as a convenient, organization-specific method for adjusting hostname. While it is true that these packages could be distributed and installed via Github alone, there are benefits to the Portage system, as well as the convenience of scaling easily that make it a better choice. Of course, I am willing and happy to take on maintenance of this system in an effort to improve the quality of these packages. Thank you
The link to your repository or the attachment is missing. I suggest you to setup a well documented repository first, where development can take place. Second provide an ebuild via overlay. After a period of testing one could discuss if it fits to the main tree.
