Currently mozilla-firefox in the portage is set to version 0.9.3. As stated this last couple of weeks vulnerbilities have been discovered in JPEG and BMP image handling. Firefox 0.9.4 fixes the BMP vulnerbility. Firefox 1.0_pre fixes the JPEG vulnerbility. Mozilla needs to be upgraded to version 1.7.2-r1. Thunderbird email program is already upgraded to a secure version.
